All four of The X Factor 2016 judges are set to return next year.
While this year's series is still very much on air, talks have already begun behind the scenes to get Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger back alongside Simon Cowell in 2017.
An X Factor source told The Sun newspaper today: “Simon wants all the judges back next year. Contracts haven’t been signed but negotiations are already well under way.
“Nicole is keen because she loves the show and Sharon also wants to come back as long as she can keep up her crazy transatlantic travel schedule.”
Speaking last weekend, Nicole Scherzinger declared her intentions of wanting to stay around for at least one more series, explaining: “At the start of this year, I didn’t know what I’d be doing but you’ve got to be open in this business. Maybe I’d be open to coming back to X Factor.
“We’ll see how hard Simon tries to persuade me!”
Meanwhile, speaking on the Xtra Factor on Sunday, Simon seemed to confirm he would be inviting them all back.
"If they want to come back, and everyone may not want to, then everyone can come back," Simon said on the ITV2 spin off show to cheers from Nicole, Sharon and Louis.
Xtra Factor host Rylan Clark-Neal then teased: "Did you say everyone?"
"I don't make the decisions by the way," Simon then added.
But he continued: "I would like everyone to comeback if they will."
With all the judges - and Rylan and Matt Edmondson - showing their approval of returning, Simon declared: "Okay, done, we're all coming back."
If the panel does remain unchanged it would be the first time in six years, since Simon and Louis were with Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue between 2008 and 2010.
The X Factor continues tonight at 8PM on ITV.
