X Factor's Honey G has big ambitions following her exit from the show.

Sunday night saw the Quarter Final X Factor 2016 results as Honey G bowed out of the competition.

She was voted off in the sing off against 5 After Midnight to leave just four acts for the semi-finals next week.

Having made it as far as the Quarter Finals, Honey G is now looking to launch herself as the UK's next Genuine Urban Artist and is aiming for One Direction levels of fame and success.

"I’m kind of looking to come in at the level that One Direction came in at," she revealed this week. "I know that I can create that hype.

"I just need the opportunity to be able to sell the records, get the right PR behind me, get the right team behind me that’s really going to blow me up."

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Honey G went on to admit that she's struggled to afford food in the past and hopes that music will allow her to never worry again.

"My life has been a struggle and hellish," she told the tabloid. "I’ve had times like Christmas as well when I haven’t even been able to afford to go out at the weekend, I haven’t been able to afford to eat or just seeing my friends or even get a train ride somewhere."

Honey G went on: "To have wealth would mean so much to me - it would be amazing," she added. "I don’t want to ever worry about money again. I don't want to struggle."

The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
