It certainly would make for the wackiest act the show has ever seen...
... and be one less name for Sharon to remember.
The mentor of the Overs category floated the idea on the Xtra Factor last night with the final approaching.
Asked who would make the final, Sharon teased: "My girls, and they'll end up as a duo."
It's fair to say that at the start of the competition most people didn't expect Sharon's acts to last the longest.
But - somehow - she's the only judge with more than the one act remaining.
Although for how long remains to be seen.
Assuming the whole 'duo' idea is a no go for now, we may end up saying goodbye to one of Honey G or Saara tonight.
Her ride on the show is set to be up with bookies reporting before the live show that a whopping 93% of elimination bets placed by X Factor fans this week have been for the rapper.
One dedicated Honey G hater has also placed the largest elimination bet of the series to date, slapping £3,000 on the novelty act to get voted off.
However Saara could also potentially find herself going home, having been in the sing-off three times now.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Honey G haters are out in force this week and they are certain her time on the X Factor is up.
"The public are convinced things are finally returning to normal, in the X Factor at least."
The X Factor 2016 results air tonight on ITV.
