Emily Middlemas has confessed she's been hit hard by boyfriend Ryan Lawrie's X Factor exit.
After seven weeks together on the live shows, the pair were split up last weekend when Ryan left the competition.
"It has been hard, it has been tough," Emily admitted this week.
She explained: "I was upset on Monday when he was leaving [the house]. I was like, ‘Don’t go! You can just stay. We can sing together, we can be a duet!’
"But yeah, it’s been tough without him because we’ve been there for each other so much."
This evening Emily will be back on the X Factor stage while Ryan will be performing 100s of miles away in Cardiff.
“Good luck to my boy @RyanLawrie_ for his gig in Cardiff tonight!!! I wish I could be there, I miss you so much❤️” she tweeted her beau.
Tonight is The X Factor Quarter Finals and there will be two songs each for the finalists.
First up for Emily is her Louis' Loves selection, which is Britney Spears' Toxic.
Emily was originally meant to sing the track on the very first week of the competition but Simon Cowell changed it at the last minute.
The choice by Louis is sure to please Emily, who previously confessed she did NOT approve of the song switch.
"I wasn't [happy with my song] the first week," Emily said earlier this year. "My track got changed by Simon at the last minute and it just didn't feel like me."
She went on: "I wish we'd stuck to my original track. I can see why Simon changed it, he wanted me to do something that was more young and in the charts."
As for the second X Factor song choices this week, the contestants have a free pick.
And chosen by herself, Emily will be singing Rag 'N' Bone Man - Human.
Will the two tracks get her into the semi-finals?
The X Factor airs Saturday and Sunday night at 8PM on ITV.
