X Factor 2016 competition heats up and everybody wants to win

The competition on The X Factor 2016 is heating up with just five acts left now.

Behind the scenes and off camera, there's tension between the acts as the pressure increases.

With Wembley Arena in sight, favourite to win Matt Terry confessed this week: "The pressure is on and everybody wants to win."

He told Star magazine: "I've been getting more and more nervous - my heart is racing constantly. I try to lock the nerves away on stage, get on with my performance and deal with it afterwards.

Matt added: "It would be an absolute dream to make the final. Everybody who's got this far in the competition can see that it's in sight. It makes us hungrier for it."

Those left in the competition alongside Matt include Emily Middlemass and Saara Aalto, but he reckons that Honey G and boy band 5 After Midnight are his biggest competition, remarking: "Anyone who has as much fun as Honey G on stage deserves to be here, she's really enjoying it and she works so hard."

This weekend it's the Quarter Finals and, for the first time this year, the remaining top five acts will be singing two songs each.

The X Factor 2016 continues live this Saturday night at 8PM on ITV with Louis Loves week.

Then on Sunday night at 8PM the latest results will see another act leave, as well as performances from Busted and Clean Bandit.

Sunday evening will also see the Jukebox wheeled out again to decide next weekend's theme with 80s and Christmas still in play!
