Olly Murs has taken a little swipe at this year's X Factor viewing figures.
The host of last year's series has had a little boast about numbers being up last year compared to the current series - and he's not wrong.
So far this year The X Factor 2016 live shows have averaged around 6.2 million overnight viewers, down up to a million viewers on last year's live stages.
"It's fine," Olly said of this year's show. "I think last year's show was as good. Despite what people might think, last year's show was a huge success.
"I think we even had more viewers, FYI!"
Despite the cheeky brag, Olly told Star magazine he had nothing but love for the show and enjoyed returning earlier this month to perform again.
"The X Factor has been a big part of my career so it's always lovely to go back," Olly said.
And he said of his relationship with former mentor Simon Cowell: "It's great. I saw him last week and had a nice catch up. We text and talk when we can. He congratulated me on my album coming out."
As for presenting, Olly admitted he found it far scarier than singing but would be up for trying it again one day.
"I'm not that experienced at it, whereas I've been doing music for so many years," he explained. "I'm sure if I had more experience with presenting I wouldn't feel like that.
"I'd like to do something on my own, something different. A music show like Top Of The Pops. As artists, we lack TV shows to perform on."
