Former X Factor finalist and host Olly Murs has taken a swipe at the show's contestants.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Olly spilled on how some acts when he was on the show last year were 'too big for their boots'.
Olly, who fronted the 2015 series with Caroline Flack, explained: “Some think they’re superstars before they’ve achieved anything.
“I thought some of the acts I met spoke to people behind the scenes on The X Factor in a disrespectful way."
He added: |When people get a bit of fame it can go to their heads.”
And Olly, who also hosted ITV2 spin-off show the Xtra Factor previously, suggested: “They need to remember it’s about the two minutes of singing on Saturday night, not what people are saying on Twitter.”
He continued: “If you look at One Direction, Little Mix or myself, we’re the ones who didn’t think we were superstars and went out and worked hard and made good music.
“It’s about getting to the final and getting the recording contract – that’s what I achieved.
“But it came from hard work and not being too big for my boots.”
Let's hope this year's lot take the advice...
