X Factor favourite Matt Terry reckons that Honey G is his biggest competition to winning the show this year.
That's despite her being in the bottom two sing off on Sunday night, leaving bookies to make her the favourite to go at the weekend.
Matt declared this week: “She’s my competition. She is definitely my biggest competition. If I was in the bottom two with her I’d be very scared. After that sing-off I said ‘I would not want to be in a sing-off with Honey G’ because she just pulled it out the bag.”
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Nicole Scherzinger's last remaining boy went on: “Afterwards I asked her ‘did you choreograph any of that staging?’ and she said ‘I just felt it’. I was like ‘whoa, I need to get some choreography down because she just nailed it.’
“I was really surprised to see her in the sing-off, I couldn’t believe that she was in the bottom two. I don’t think any of us expected that, I thought she would fly straight through to the final.”
Meanwhile, Matt told the tabloid that Honey G was completely "normal" in The X Factor house although spent a lot of her time away from the other acts.
He said: “She just goes up to her room, she’ll come downstairs like ‘are we watching EastEnders tonight?’ she’ll go and make a cup of tea, she’ll have her bagel, she’ll go to sleep. That’s all I’ve experienced with her.”
The X Factor 2016 is back this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV with the live quarter finals.
Matt, Honey G, 5 After Midnight, Saara Aalto and Emily Middlemas all remain in the competition.
