Former Strictly pro Kristina Rihanoff 'in talks to join The X Factor team'

Former Strictly pro dancer Kristina Rihanoff is reportedly in talks to join The X Factor team.

The professional performer, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, is set to take charge of the live tour in 2017.

According to The Sun newspaper, new mum Kristina is in discussions with show bosses to choreograph the latest live arena stage show, which will start in Nottingham in February.

“Kristina has had a meeting with Simon and his team about doing choreography," a source told the tabloid this week. “She came to watch the show on Saturday night with Sinitta, which might mean that she was going to grab some time with Simon and discuss things further."

The source added: “Getting Kristina involved isn’t just about getting one over his rivals at the BBC.

“People forget how talented she is and she’s incredibly professional – it’s no surprise he wants to snap her up.”

The X Factor 2017 tour kicks off in the Spring and will feature the top eight acts from this year's show

They are Nicole Scherzinger's Boys - Matt Terry and Ryan Lawrie - and Simon Cowell's two Girls - Emily Middlemas and Samantha Lavery.

They're joined by Sharon Osbourne's remaining Overs - Honey G and Saara Aalto - and finally Louis Walsh's top two Groups - 5 After Midnight and Four of Diamonds.

But before the tour, we've still got the winner to decide with the X Factor 2016 live shows continuing this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
