X Factor winners Little Mix are set to score their first Number 1 album this week.
The girls' fourth record Glory Days is on course to top the charts, five years on from their victory on the show.
While the girls' previous efforts have sold well, they've frustratingly always just missed the top spot, ranking in at numbers, 2, 3 and 4.
According to today’s Official Chart Update, Little Mix's latest album is on track for big opening week sales with a total of 64,000 combined sales already at the halfway stage in the midweeks.
However the four piece face some stiff competition with an all new top three in the albums chartl
Battling it out with Little Mix this week are Metallica with their tenth studio album Hardwired… to Self-Destruct and Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic.
The trio have bumped Little Mix's fellow X Factor star Olly Murs from the top spot after he scored a fourth Number 1 album with his fifth record 24HRS last week.
Meanwhile, over on the singles chart, Little Mix's Shout Out To My Ex continues in the Top 5 and could end up rallying to return to the top spot, leaving the girls on top of both the album and singles charts come Friday night.
The official Top 40 singles and album charts will be revealed on Friday at 6PM.
