X Factor 2016: 5 After Midnight singer threatened to QUIT after more rows

One member of 5 After Midnight threatened to quit The X Factor after rows between the group.

The group had denied claims of arguments causing a split between them, but it turns out there may have been some truth in the rumours after all.

Jordan Lee confessed to The Sun tonight that he had threatened to walk off the show.

“I said I was going to go. I do occasionally feel enough is enough," he told the newspaper.

Jordan explained how he's found it hard spending so much time with bandmates Kieran Alleyne and Nathan Lewis.

Jordan, who was persuaded to stay, added: “We’re living on top of each other so it’s tension after tension.”

That's going to make the tour next year fun...

Earlier this month, 5 After Midnight denied claims they were close to splitting after bickering backstage.

Jordan assured fans at the time: "We're going to have arguments no matter what. If you have a child, you're going to have an argument with that child, but it's because you love them! It's the same with housemates and workmates."

Kieran added: "It's never anything serious. It's just petty, like brothers."

And he concluded: "We're not going to split up. We entered this competition together, we'll go out of it together."

This week is Movies night and 5 After Midnight will be battling against Emily Middlemas, Ryan Lawrie, Matt Terry, Saara Aalto and Honey G for a spot on the Quarter Finals.

Bookies have installed Ryan as the favourite to leave.

The X Factor 2016 airs Saturday at 8PM on ITV with the performances on Sunday at 8PM, featuring guest appearances from Alicia Keys and Craig David.
