X Factor's latest eliminee Samantha Lavery is going to keep on singing following her exit.
Sam made a surprising exit on Sunday night in the bottom two sing off against Ryan Lawrie.
The judges' votes were tied, sending the decision to deadlock where it was revealed that Sam had received the fewest votes over the weekend.
But despite leaving, Sam has seemingly never been happier and she's looking forward to the future.
She said: "The tour is going to be a dream. I’ve been and watched the tour, so the fact I’m going to be on it is crazy! I think my favourite one is going to be in Newcastle, where I live - at the Metro Radio Arena. It’s gonna be amazing!"
And Sam added: "The future for me? I’m going to go on and gig. I’m going to write some original songs and show everyone who I am as an artist"
Speaking to the official X Factor website at itv.com, Sam gushed about how "proud" her granddad was, having inspired her to audition for the show.
Sam revealed: "My Granddad is literally the cutest person - and he’s so proud of me. I’ve kind of done everything that he’s wanted to do - so I’ve done it for me and him, and it’s just been incredible - he’s so proud!"
"Music has always been what I wanted to do - it’s never been a phase; X Factor has given me a massive platform and it’s given me an incredible journey, and I’ve met some brilliant people - it’s been amazing!"
The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV with Movies week.
