And she's now ahead of Emily Middlemas with at least one bookmaker, although Matt Terry remains the favourite to win.
Six contestants remain in X Factor after Samantha Lavery became the latest contestant to get the boot on Sunday night.
Following the disco themed performances, Matt Terry stays the overall favourite to win the show but has been eased to 10/11 from 8/13 after a surge of support for both 5 After Midnight and Honey G.
Having been as big as 100/1 when the show started, rapper Honey G is now 9/2 to cause a shock and win with boy band 5 After Midnight now 4/1 from 8/1 after impressing with their mash-up of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Boogie Wonderland and September with a dance break in the middle.
Emily Middlemas has seen her odds drift out to 5/1 from 5/2 to win with Saara Aalto and Ryan Lawrie the outsiders of the remaining six contestants at 16/1 and 66/1 respectively.
Liam Glynn from bookies BoyleSports said: “It’s already been a year of upsets with Brexit and Trump and Honey G could well prove to be another one. Having been backed down from 100/1, Honey G now has a realistic chance of winning the X Factor with punters now backing her into 9/2 from 7/1.”
He added: “Matt Terry remains the favourite to win but following the support for both Honey G and 5 After Midnight he has seen his price eased to 10/11 from 8/13.”
