It was another head to head for Saturday night TV rivals in the ratings last night.
Strictly Come Dancing started at 6:55PM and scored a massive average audience of over 10 million viewers.
The episode was up 300,000 viewers on last Saturday and matched the figures of 2015 and 2014's equivalent shows.
The pressure was on the celebs as they competed to make it into next week's Blackpool special, with the results to be revealed tonight at 7:15PM on BBC One.
X Factor viewing figures
At 8PM The X Factor kicked off with a 10 minute overlap between the two shows, the shortest so far this year.
Numbers were up for the Disco themed performances, climbing 400,000 viewers from last week's series low to record the best live show numbers since Week 1.
However as has been the case throughout this year's live shows, the numbers were well down on past years.
Last night's ep fell 500,000 on 2015 and 1.7 million on 2014's figure for the sixth live show.
Afterwards on ITV2, The Xtra Factor had a total of 400,000 viewers for all of the latest backstage gossip.
One more act will be heading home in tonight's latest live results show at 8PM on ITV, which will feature performances from Olly Murs and Nathan Sykes.
Elsewhere last night, Jonathan Ross' run of strong ratings continued with another 3 million figure for guests including Little Mix and Jeremy Clarkson.
