Emily Middlemas has dramatically hit out at her own mentor Simon Cowell in tonight's live X Factor live show.
It was Disco week but Emily performed another slow number, singing Wishing On A Star.
Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh weren't impressed.
Sharon said: "It was a bit of a Debbie downer after everything we've seen and I want to see another side of you."
However Simon declared: "Forget what they said. It was beautifully dramatic and beautifully staged."
But then Emily told Dermot O'Leary she actually disagreed with her own mentor Simon and sided with the other judges.
"I agree with all three of them. I really want to do something upbeat. I've just stood on the one spot," she complained.
Emily's desire to perform something more uptempo has become a bit of a running joke on The Xtra Factor, now six weeks into the show.
Emily previously revealed hopes to sing something more upbeat for Divas week and finally being allowed to move.
"I've been stuck, the first one I was in a cage and the second one I was in a circle," Emily said of her first performances on the live shows.
However the teenager was again left glued to the spot with a slowed down cover of Whitney Houston's How Will I Know.
Chatting afterwards on Xtra Factor, Emily confessed it wasn't what she actually wanted.
"I really wanted to [sing an upbeat song] this week but I guess I kind of have to take Simon's words," Emily told hosts Matt Edmondson and Rylan Clark-Neal on ITV2's Xtra Factor afterwards.
On the Xtra Factor last Sunday night, Rylan Clark-Neal jokingly branded Emily a "liar" after she again performed a slowed down number on Saturday for Girl Band v Boy Band week.
The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday nights on ITV.
