X Factor's Samantha Lavery has admitted she wasn't happy with her song choice at the weekend.
Last night saw the fifth X Factor 2016 results of the series as Four Of Diamonds bowed out of the competition.
They were eliminated in the sing off against Saara Aalto, while Sam was saved from the bottom three thanks to the new 'life line' vote twist.
It was her first time in the danger zone this year and she admitted it was a "wake up call".
Speaking on the Xtra Factor after the live show, Sam said: "I'm feeling good because I'm still here but for me it was kind of like a big wake up call.
"I wasn't 100% with my song last night and if you've got a gut feeling, it's not right. Next week I'm going to be 100% with the song, confident and happy with it."
She added: "I'm only 17 and I want to show that next week, a little bit of a modern side."
Meanwhile Saara survived her third sing off this series having avoided the bottom three for the previous two weeks.
She told ITV2: "I can't get nervous. I have to be calm and confident when I go out there, there's no other way, you have to, it's a tough decision. You have to go there and do it."
Asked what may have gone wrong for her this week, Saara replied: "I don't know, we loved it, the whole team. I've waited my whole life to do performances like this.
"Maybe they wanted to see more me, and of course with the wig and the costume, it was kind of a role or character."
The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM with Disco week.
As well as new performances from the final seven acts, there will be guest appearances from Olly Murs and Nathan Sykes
