Samantha Lavery has been saved from the axe in tonight's X Factor 2016 results.
It was Girl Band v Boy Band on the show last night as the remaining eight contestants performed live for the third time this year.
Those left in the contest going into the weekend were Nicole Scherzinger's Boys - Matt Terry and Ryan Lawrie, Simon Cowell's Girls - Emily Middlemas and Samantha Lavery, Sharon Osbourne's Overs - Honey G and Saara Aalto, and finally Louis Walsh's Groups - 5 After Midnight and Four of Diamonds.
The judges had plenty to say on each of the latest performances but as ever it was viewer votes alone that determined the bottom three this evening.
Lines opened yesterday ahead of the songs and closed in tonight's results show where the bottom three were revealed.

In this evening's live show on ITV, Dermot O'Leary announced the trio of acts in the danger zone.
Samantha Lavery, Saara Aalto and Four Of Diamonds were in the bottom three. It was the third time for both Saara and Four Of Diamonds but the first time for Sam.
The trio then faced the new twist with a second round of voting in the life line vote.
Fans had just 5 minutes to vote to save one of the bottom three in a free poll on the official X Factor app.
The one with the most votes - Samantha Lavery - was saved from the sing off and through to next weekend.
Four Of Diamonds and Saara went on to perform once more for the judges before one of them went home.
