The singer again avoided the axe in last night X Factor 2016 results.
For the fifth week in a row, Honey G sailed through the latest elimination as Samantha Lavery found herself in the bottom three for the first time.
Now Simon thinks that Honey G really may win the whole thing.
He told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: “It’s going to change. I thought I knew which act would win. But now I’ve changed my mind.
“Anything is possible. Part of me is thinking, ‘I don’t know what’s going on’. But the other part of me is laughing. It’s Honey G. She’s doing great.”
Speaking on the Xtra Factor after her latest victory in the results, Honey G told hosts Matt Edmondson and Rylan Clark-Neal: "I am literally having the time of my life on X Factor right now.
"This experience has been completely life changing for me and I really hope it'll changing my life completely so I can be a rap artist full time."
Following the latest live show, bookies have again cut Honey G's odds of winning making her now the third favourite behind Matt Terry and Emily Middlemas.
The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM with Disco week.
As well as new performances from the final seven acts, there will be guest appearances from Olly Murs and Nathan Sykes
