Nicole Scherzinger has suggested she should open The X Factor 2016’s live shows every week.
After she belted out a diva medley last month, Nicole reckons she could set the standard for the contestants to beat.
Asked by new! magazine how she’d improve the show, Nicole said speaking about herself in the third person: “I would have Nicole Scherzinger open up the show every freakin’ week.
“I’d be like 'This is how it’s done, if you can match that, you’re moving onto the next round'. I’m not joking!”
Meanwhile, asked if she would be returning to the panel next year, Nicole replied coyly: “Simon’s got to work for that! The boy’s gotta work, work, work.”
Talking of working, Nicole claimed that being a mentor on the show wasn’t a walk in the park.
She said: “I’m a glutton for hard work. I love it. I make it hard work. I care, I devote a lot of time to my contestants. When the live shows come, that’s when I roll up my sleeves.
“Every night I go to bed thinking about them. I think about everything - song choice, production, lighting wjat’s the best platform I can put them on to help them shine.”
The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday on ITV from 8PM.
It's a Girl band v Boy Band theme and there will be a guest performance from Robbie Williams.
