X Factor! James Arthur set for No 1 album, Louisa Johnson struggling in charts?

The X Factor 2012 Week 9 - James Arthur

James Arthur is set for a number 1 album on the charts this week.

The former X Factor champ is on course to follow his recent chart topping single as his comeback shows no signs of slowing down.

James' Number 1 single Say You Won't Let Go spent three weeks at Number 1 earlier this month and now album Back From The Edge is set to replicate its success.

According to the Official Charts Company, the album is currently in pole position and 6,000 combined chart sales ahead of its closest rival.

If James can hold on it will be his first number 1 album ever; his X Factor debut charting at Number 2 back in 2013.

Little Mix set for third week at Number 1

Over in the singles chart and Little Mix's reign on top looks set to continue.

After knocking James off the top spot, Shout Out To My Ex is on course for a third week at Number 1.

The girls currently lead James who remains at Number 2 with Say You Won't Let Go.

Louisa Johnson's debut single set for Top 20

Despite other X Factor acts dominating the top of both the single and albums charts, latest winner Louisa Johnson isn't replicating the success.

The possibility of an X Factor 1-2-3 in the Top 40 is all but gone, with Louisa's song set for a Top 20 debut.

Despite new single So Good being So Amazing, the track is so far failing to match the placing of her winner's single which reached Number 9 last year.

Louisa performed the song on The X Factor live shows at the weekend after revealing her debut album won't be out until 2017.
