Gifty Louise has been branded a 'sore loser' after last night's X Factor 2016 results.

It was Gifty who left in last night's X Factor 2016 results after the sing-off against Four of Diamonds.

Four of Diamonds were in the sing-off for the second time in as many weeks while elsewhere in the live results, Ryan Lawrie was saved by the life line vote for a third time.

This morning Gifty appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about her time in the show, and some viewers weren't impressed.

"That Gifty has still got a face like a slapped arse on @GMB get over it love. There's a lot worse things happening in the world! #XFactor," one wrote on Twitter.

Another tweeted simply: "Gifty is a sore loser."

A third added: "#gifty Wow .... sulky and a bad loser !!!"

However she hit back on Twitter after the show: "Not going to pretend I'm happy and smile for the beneficial of others. I worked my ass off and I was gutted. I'm allowed to be."

It's certainly understandable why Gifty may be upset given her exit was a pretty big shock.

When the result came in on last night's show there was anger in the studio with the judges booed by the audience and Gifty herself looked FUMING.

But on Xtra Factor she insisted she was "happy".

"I'm grateful for the experience, I made it this far. Thousands of people auditioned for this show and I made it to the final nine, so I'm happy, honestly. I have no regrets," Gifty said.

Following her elimination in the latest XFactor results show, Gifty continued: "I've made a lot of friends, I'm going to miss hanging out with Jordan [from 5 After Midnight].

"I knew I was going home, the girls [Four Of Diamonds] are amazing."

And Gifty vowed to "keep singing": "I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing. I'm going to keep singing... I might become the next Rylan, you never know!"

The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday on ITV from 8PM.

It's a Girl band v Boy Band theme and there will be a guest performance from Robbie Williams.
