Ryan Lawrie has (AGAIN) been saved from the bottom three in tonight's The X Factor 2016 results.
It was Halloween week on the show last night as the remaining 9 contestants performed live for the third time this year.
Those left in the contest going into the weekend were Nicole Scherzinger's Boys - Matt Terry and Ryan Lawrie, Simon Cowell's Girls - Emily Middlemas, Samantha Lavery and Gifty Louise, Sharon Osbourne's Overs - Honey G and Saara Aalto, and finally Louis Walsh's Groups - 5 After Midnight and Four of Diamonds.
The judges had plenty to say on each of the spellbinding performances but as always it was viewer votes alone that determined the bottom three this evening.
Lines opened yesterday after the songs and closed in tonight's results show where the bottom three were revealed.
Tonight's X Factor 2016 results
In this evening's live show on ITV, Dermot O'Leary announced the trio of acts in the danger zone.
Four Of Diamonds, Ryan Lawrie and Gifty Louise were in the bottom three, the second time in as many weeks for both Four Of Diamonds and Ryan but the first time ever for Gifty.
The trio then faced the new twist with a second round of voting in the life line vote.
Fans had just 5 minutes to vote to save one of the bottom three in a free poll on the official X Factor app.
The one with the most votes was then revealed as Ryan who was therefore saved and through to next weekend. It was the third time Ryan has been saved by the life line vote.
Gifty and Four Of Diamonds then had to perform again for the judges in the sing-off where one was sent home by the judges.
The X Factor 2016 continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
