Louisa Johnson's debut album won't be out until 2017, it has been revealed.
The singer had been due to put out a record in November next month but now it won't be coming until next year.
It's a brand new move for an X Factor winner, who have up until now always released their album the year after their victory.
But Louisa said she didn't want to rush out the record, which will feature brand new single So Good.
She's been working in LA on songs for her album, teaming up with writers behind the hits of Justin Bieber.
"It was really strange at first, in LA everything is so far apart, but I liked it," Louisa told the Daily Mirror. "I'd love to make it in the States, it all just depends on the music."
Speaking about her 2017 album, Louisa explained to the newspaper: "I am happy it’s worked out this way, I did want a song out before X Factor came around again, but I didn't want an album out in November.
"I wanted to break the mould.
"I just want to make it as perfect as it can be. Like, 'Here you go world, this is my life on a CD'."
Meanwhile, in a chat with MTV, Louisa said she felt pressure following the recent success of fellow X Factor alumni.
"I do feel a little bit of pressure because obviously they’ve done so well for themselves and I’m just starting out," the teenager explained.
"It is a bit hard at first but I’m just trying not to think too far ahead and to take each day as it comes," she said. "You know, just go with it and enjoy it because it can be over just like that, I’m just trying to take it all in my stride.”
Louisa's single So Good is out to download and stream now.
