X Factor boy band 5 After Midnight are reportedly not keen on comparisons to JLS.
Which seems strange given that JLS - who made the final of the show in 2008 - are X Factor's most successful winners in terms of Number 1s.
Supposedly, 5 After Midnight feel JLS were "very cheesy and were overly manufactured" and don't see being compared to them as a compliment.
A source blabbed to The Sun newspaper: “The boys are really getting bored of people comparing them to JLS, they don’t see it as a compliment at all.
“They won’t publicly slate JLS as they know a lot of their fans will be former JLS fans, but privately they absolutely hate it”
The insider added: “Kieran finds it the most insulting, he thinks JLS were very cheesy and were overly manufactured, he get visibly stressed and annoyed by it”
Speaking ahead of Friday night's Halloween special, the source concluded: “It’s fair to say all three of them want to try and shake off the ‘next JLS’ tag they are being given as quickly as possible.”
Meanwhile, the boys have been forced to deny claims they're about to SPLIT after 'clashing' in rehearsals.
They took to Twitter to reassure fans: "Haha not at all!!! We are brothers and are staying in this together!!!
"Let's squash this rumour!! We really are not splitting up... if anything we are more solid than ever!! Bring on FrightNight!!"
The X Factor is back this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM.
It's Halloween weekend and there will be a guest performance from reigning winner Louisa Johnson.
