Most recent eliminee Relley C has revealed how she comforted her fellow Overs category singer over online comments.
Relley told the Express newspaper: “I did have a talk with her.
“She showed me something she read after Judges’ Houses and I said, ‘You can’t look at it, you’ve go to block it out. Be yourself - be Honey G’.”
While many were left outraged when Relley left at the weekend while Honey G avoided the axe, the Birmingham performer has no hard feelings.
Relley said: “She’s so nice and in the house, I don’t have a single bad thing to say about her.”
She went on: “Obviously people are gong to say, ‘Relley should have been there, Honey doesn’t sing!’
"But she’s got a massive following. People keep turning up in a cap and shades. It confuses the heck out for me at the live shows but she is the loveliest woman.”
Relley's comments come as it's claimed that even Honey G's own family are "embarrassed" by her antics on The X Factor.
The so-called genuine urban artist - real name Anna Georgette Gilford - has been branded "painful".
The family member also claimed that Anna had always lived "in the shadow of her sister".
"To the nation Honey G is funny to watch but to her family it’s embarrassing," the relative told the Daily Star newspaper.
They went on: “She has always lived in the shadow of her sister and finally this is her time to get attention—but it’s painful to watch.
"Anna is a very sensitive soul and to watch her being mocked by the nation is upsetting.”
However an X Factor source insisted: “Honey’s family, including her mum, have been extremely supportive of her.”
The X Factor 2016 is back this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
