Louis Walsh says Four Of Diamonds must work harder next week on The X Factor 2016.

Yesterday evening saw the latest live show and it was Relley C who left The X Factor last night and bowed out of the competition.

She was eliminated in the sing off against Four Of Diamonds, while Ryan Lawrie was saved from the bottom three (again) thanks to the new 'life line' vote twist.

Chatting on Xtra Factor, it was a bittersweet time for Four Of Diamonds.

While they were happy with surviving the axe - and getting through to next weekend's Halloween show - they expressed sadness in seeing Relley go.

Four Of Diamonds said: "It felt so awful, we sang for our lives literally, but Relley is amazing. She's such an amazing woman. We're so sad to see her go."

Meanwhile their mentor Louis claimed the group needed to work harder next week.

"They have a lot of potential. They need time to grow. I just think they need to work harder probably," he said.

Chatting on Xtra Factor, Simon Cowell quipped in response: "So you're saying it's their fault, not your fault?"

Four Of Diamonds have had a bit of a struggle after originally being sent home at judges' houses.

The four piece returned only last weekend after another of Louis' acts dropped out, leaving them with an uphill battle.

Can they bounce back next weekend?

The X Factor is back next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM.

It's Halloween weekend and there will be a guest performance from reigning winner Louisa Johnson.
