Honey G has had her latest X Factor rap BANNED over threat of legal action.
It's all over her latest X Factor song choice for Divas week.
It was revealed last night that Honey was performing Ice Ice Baby by that well known diva songstress, err, Vanilla Ice.
The song samples Under Pressure, originally written and performed by David Bowie and Queen.
And according to reports, the estate of the late Bowie have issued strict instructions about the performance.
The Daily Mirror says that Bowie's estate have told The X Factor that it can only be sung as originally performed, with no additional lyrics.
Which rules out Honey G's classic (and only) line, "When I say Honey, you say G!"
"Bowie’s estate have been very reluctant in letting her use the song, she can’t make it her own in any way and must stick to Vanilla Ice’s version," a source explained.
An X Factor insider added to the newspaper: “Honey is really nervous because her biggest draw is all the gimmicks and personal touches she puts on her raps.
“Now she really has to stick to the format, so she doesn’t want to cause any problems. This could really make or break her.”
May we suggest that perhaps if Honey had actually chosen a song by a diva, she wouldn't have these last minute worries?
Of course, Honey is far from the only one with a dodgy diva song choice this week...
The X Factor 2016 airs on ITV tonight from 8PM with all the live performances.
Then on Sunday night at 8PM the latest results will see another act leave, as well as guest appearances from Shawn Mendes and John Legend.
