Four Of Diamonds have been given some extra help on The X Factor 2016 this week.

From none other than former winners Little Mix!

The only group to ever win The X Factor spoke to the girls last week and backed them in the competition.

After performing on last Sunday’s live show, Little Mix, shared some advice with Caroline, Sophia, Lauren and Yasmin from Four of Diamonds.

Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall said: “When we were on the show we literally did not stop rehearsing 24 seven, through the night. We didn’t really stop, we were hardcore. And I think we just had so much fun. I think friendship is probably the most important thing, if you’re not friends, it’s not going to work.”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “Stick together, definitely have each other’s backs” and Perrie Edwards encouraged the girls to “have fun!”

Four of Diamonds - who sailed through their first live show performance - agreed with the advice from mentor band, Little Mix.

Jesy Nelson said: “I feel like you have a great relationship. I watched your VT and you all seem so lovely so just stay that way because that’s how the public can relate to you and you’re all normal and I think that’s what everyone loves.”

Four of Diamonds’ Sophia said: “It’s really nice to talk to you guys, you seem so humble and down to earth, to see you come out the other end and everything you’ve done. We’re at the start of our journey compared to you so it’s so nice to see you being so successful.”

Perrie told the girls: “You’re amazing! Have fun with it, be confident, show everyone’s individual personality and when you get given a song think, how can we switch it up, flip it on it’s head, do something completely different…”

And Jesy concluded: “It is all just about your friendship and enjoy every minute because you don’t ever know where it’s going to end. Just enjoy it... You are doing amazing and we’re with you all the way!”

The X Factor 2016 airs live tonight at 8PM on ITV as Four Of Diamonds and the other remaining acts sing live once more.
