Former X Factor finalist Mason Noise has revealed what really happened when he was kicked off the show.
Mason was escorted off stage by security during last year's six chair challenge after clashing with Simon Cowell.
"The first audition I watched on Saturday people had 10 minute slots and I went to 47 seconds," he complained at Wembley Arena.
Simon snapped: "You know what, you are 5 seconds away from getting thrown off this stage. I mean it."
Mason declared himself an "artist" and continued: "I'm doing this for entertainment, I'm doing this for artists. This is real. I'm bringing art back."
"If you've got a problem then just go," said an unimpressed Simon. "You're a complete a**ehole. Don't tell me how long you should have on this show."
Recalling the incident this week, Mason recalled what really happened behind the cameras.
“I was carried out by security. There were about five of them who escorted me all the way to the front door, where they pushed me out," he explained. “They wouldn’t even let me go back to get my jacket. They insisted on getting it for me.
“There was no need, I was calm. I wasn’t even shouting.”
Despite the shock exit, Mason went on to make the live shows after returning at judges' houses when another act left.
“I got a call from an X Factor producer asking if I would speak to Simon – begging me to take the call, really," Mason told the Birmingham Mail newspaper. “Then Simon rang me himself from LA to apologise and ask me back.”
Now Mason is preparing to release his new single Heat on December 2.
Mason premiered audio of the song on YouTube earlier this month ahead of its release later in the year.
He said: “It’s just a taste, I have so much more material to release.”
The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
