The girls returned to the stage of the ITV show at the weekend, singing new song Shoutout To My Ex.
But all a lot of viewers were talking about was what the four piece were wearing.
Or rather what they weren't.
"Was Little Mix running late, because they seem to have come out wearing just their underwear? It's not a case of less is more!" one viewer wrote online.
"Girl role models? really? dressed like that?" said another while a third posted: "Are you joking!? The strippers have arrived then... ".
Speaking on The One Show, the girls hit back in the best way possible.
"I think it's nice that we are four young girls who are confident in our bodies and want to go out there and rock it," Jesy Nelson declared.
She went on: "We don't get told what to wear. If we want to wear something then we will wear it. I mean, nobody moans when Beyonce comes out on stage in a leotard. What's the difference when we do it?"
Bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock laughed the whole drama off: "They weren't that bad. I was wearing a shirt!"
She added: "When some people think of us, they think of X Factor five years ago - but we were so young then. We didn't know what we were doing.
"Our fashion has evolved since then. We are more daring and more confident in ourselves - and I think that's a good thing, no?"
And Perrie Edwards concluded: "We move around a lot. It's hard to dance like that in pants!"
