Freddy Parker has spoken out after leaving The X Factor 2016 in tonight's results.
Earlier this evening we said goodbye to Freddy Parker who left in tonight's X Factor 2016 results after the sing-off went to deadlock.
The result prompted cries from the audience as the judges' votes were tied between Freddy and Saara Aalto, the second time in as many weeks the pair have been in the bottom three.
Speaking on the Xtra Factor after his exit, Freddy told hosts Rylan Clark and Matt Edmondson: "I'm just going to miss my little X Factor family.
"I love them all to pieces. Coming this far, I've got to know them all so well and they're all so amazing, I'm going to miss them so much. "
A particular hard goodbye for Freddy was fellow Boys category singer Matt Terry, who said on the ITV2 spin-off: "I love everybody in the house but Freddy is like my little brother but I know this is just the beginning for him."
Freddy replied: "I was just crying back there, that I'm not going to see him again for ages."
He added for all the X Factor finalists: "Hopefully I'll stay friends with them for life."
As for what's next for Freddy, he said: "X Factor is literally the biggest platform possible for music in the UK so I just want to work so hard.
"All I've wanted to do is to write music and sing music so I'm going to just work very hard and make the most out of this platform."
The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM.
The theme is divas and there will be guest performances from Shawn Mendes and John Legend.
