Emily Middlemas is planning to speed things up on The X Factor next weekend.

Yesterday evening we said goodbye to Freddy Parker who left in last night's X Factor 2016 results after the sing-off went to deadlock.

Emily avoided the bottom three altogether although boyfriend Ryan Lawrie found himself in the danger zone before being saved by the public in the new life line vote twist.

For both its onto the third live show where the theme is divas.

Emily teased she planned to go upbeat and "have as much fun as I can. I've not really had the chance to move about.

"I've been stuck, the first one I was in a cage and the second one I was in a circle."

Emily didn't know what song she'd be singing just yet but suggested a Beyonce number could well be on the cards.

"Everyone would love a Beyonce song," she smiled.

Meanwhile, Ryan revealed he hoped to strip things back for Divas week.

"I'm definitely going to be bring out my guitar," he told Xtra Factor hosts Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson. "I'm just going to be me. I'm just going to show everyone I'm a musician and not just a one trick pony."

And what about Honey G?

She promised to keep bringing it "each and every week" and said of next Saturday's Divas theme to expect "a very, very, very big number."

The X Factor 2016 is back next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM, with guest performances from Shawn Mendes and John Legend.
