Matt Terry remains the favourite to win The X Factor 2016 following the first round of live performances.
The first week of the X Factor Live Shows took place at the weekend where Bratavio were the first act to be voted off whilst Brooks Way were absent from the Live Shows after being removed due to unforeseen circumstances.
After the weekend, Matt Terry has strengthen even further at the head of the betting to win after his rendition of Grace’s – You Don’t Own Me.
Matt’s nearest rivals in the betting are boy band 5 After Midnight, who are priced at 4/1 with Emily Middlemas and 20 year old Gifty Louise both priced at 7/1.
However it’s novelty rapper, Honey G, that has seen the biggest move over the weekend with the 35 year old, whose real name is Anna Gilford, now 18/1 from 40/1 to cause a shock and win the competition.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “With only the first week of the Live Shows over, Matt Terry has become one of the shortest priced contestants to win the show so early on in the competition.
"Terry was initially installed at 9/1 and is now 6/5 to win and is certainly setting the standards early on in the competition after belting out Grace’s You Don’t Own Me on Saturday night.”
He added: “The X Factor has lost the ratings war with Strictly but Honey G could cause a massive shock and win. It’s not out of question with so called rapper now 18/1 from 40/1 to win having been 100/1 at the Judges’ Houses.”
