It was the first live show of The X Factor 2016 but who was the best?
After thousands applied tonight we began the final countdown to a winner of Teh X Factor 2016.
The lucky final 12 contestants faced the music in The X Factor Live Shows for the first time this series.
This year, Simon Cowell is mentoring the Girls category made up of Emily Middlemas, Gifty Louise and Samantha Lavery. Nicole will be keeping the Boys in check with Freddy Parker, Matt Terry and Ryan Lawrie in her category.
Sharon and the Overs - Honey G, Relley C and Saara Aalto - will be proving that age is nothing but a number. Louis has the groups Groups - Bratavio and 5 After Midnight who all take to the stage tonight. Brooks Way did not perform due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
The theme was 'Express Yourself', giving the acts pretty much free reign to sing whatever they wanted to show them off as artists.
And with no one wanting to the very first person to leave, the acts gave it all they had.
Among the performances, Relley C NAILED her take on Shackles while Bratavio went crazy with a mash up of Barbie Girl and Boom, Boom Boom.
Emily came under criticism for her performance of recent chart topper Closer before Honey G stormed the stage to close the first live show of the series.
The judges have given their comments but it's now down to the public to vote both via the phone lines and for free via the X Factor app.
