It just wouldn't be The X Factor live shows without a last second switch of songs.
And Emily Middlemas is the one having to learn a new track for her first live performance this weekend.
Tonight the new series kicks off its live stages on ITV with 'Express Yourself' week.
Basically, the acts can sing whatever they want to.
Emily WAS meant to be singing Britney Spear's Toxic this Saturday evening.
She previously teased: "I'm so excited. I'm really confident with the song I've been given and I'm sticking to what I normally do, so I've got my guitar and I'm changing it up to make it my own.
"I just hope the viewers keep me in so they can see what else I can do."
But now she reckons it's "kind of dated".
Emily said yesterday: "I'm not allowed to say what I'm singing [now], but the [new] song is really current and it's really, really fresh. It's more me, because I'm quite young, and that's better."
She added: "I've not heard the track yet that I'm singing to, but I will be hearing it soon so fingers crossed it's okay!"
Despite being the baby of the group, Emily shrugged off the last minute switch up.
"You know what, artists deal with this all the time," she said. "They deal with all this pressure all the time so you've just got to get in this music industry and you'll get thrown in the deep end at any point so you've just got to be prepared for it.
"I'm taking it well and I've just been like, 'Okay, I've got to learn this song', and that's what I've done."
The X Factor 2016 airs live tonight on ITV from 8PM.
