Honey G's inclusion in the X Factor final 12 line up has arguably been the most controversial choice from this year's show.
But Sharon insists that Honey G IS entertainment.
"Hand on heart it’s about entertaining people and Honey G whether you love her or you don’t love her entertains," she said.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on ITV today, Sharon went on: "She has her own unique way of rapping and people want to see more.
"Whether they say they don't... they do."
Honey G was also on the show and said: "Obviously there are going to be haters everywhere you go - even people very, very famous have haters. I see the haters poppin' and I don't really take any notice of them.
She added: "They just need to check themselves."
Saturday night will see Honey G perform live for the first time this year and she's teased an epic performance.
“I can’t say anything about the song, unfortunately," Honey revealed. "But I would like to deliver a track that’s gonna make the hairs on the backs of peoples’ necks stand up. I want to make sure the song is guaranteed to be a success.”
The X Factor airs live from 8PM Saturday night on ITV.
