X Factor 2016 spoilers: First song choices and theme confirmed!

Tonight's X Factor 2016 song list for first live show

It's The X Factor 2016's first live show tonight and here's all you need to know!

Last weekend saw The X Factor 2016 final 12 confirmed at judges' houses as the mentors picked their finalists.

This year Louis Walsh has the Groups (gasp), Sharon Osbourne the Overs and Simon Cowell the Girls, leaving Nicole Scherzinger with the Boys.

It's now onto the live shows which work as usual: The acts will each sing live and then the public will vote. The two singers with the fewest votes face elimination in Sunday's results show.

This evening's opening episode has got a confirmed (albeit extremely vague) theme of 'Express Yourself'.

Each of the final 12 contestants will perform a song that showcases who they are as artists, in the hope of avoiding being the first to go.

And here are ALL the songs from the show...

New live show twist!

As well as the first song choices, X Factor bosses have revealed a brand new twist for the live shows.

A new Jukebox will decide the themes for all of the future weeks, it's been announced.

Each Sunday, after the latest elimination, X Factor host Dermot O’Leary will be joined by a special guest who will spin the jukebox wheel.

Watched on by the contestants, judges and us viewers, whichever theme it stops on will be set for the next Saturday night.

Themes up for grabs include Oscars, Boy Band vs Girl Band, Disco, Motown, 80’s, Divas and - one we're VERY looking forward to - Louis Loves (the Louis Walsh collection).

The X Factor 2016 airs LIVE on ITV tonight, Saturday, from 8PM with the first performances.

Then on Sunday night at 8PM the first results will see one act leave.
