The X Factor is getting a big shake up on the live shows this year.
And it's all down to those themed weeks.
As we all know, The X Factor live shows kick off this weekend and bosses have announced a brand new element: A jukebox.
The theme for each week will be determined by an onstage, mechanical jukebox.
Each Sunday, after the gut-wrenching eliminations, host Dermot O’Leary will be joined by a special guest who will spin the jukebox wheel to reveal to the remaining contestants and the viewers at home the following week’s theme.
Themes up for grabs include Oscars, Boy Band vs Girl Band, Disco, Motown, 80’s, Divas and - one we're VERY looking forward to - Louis Loves (the Louis Walsh collection).
Of course that twist does create a bit of a chicken and egg situation for this first weekend, so producers have picked a theme themselves.
This weekend's first X Factor theme is ‘Express Yourself’. Each of the final 12 contestants will perform a song that showcases who they are as artists in the hope of sealing their place in the competition for at least one more week.
The X Factor 2016 live shows start this weekend on Saturday at 8PM on ITV with the live performances.
Then on Sunday October 9th at 8pm on ITV the first results will air as one singer gets the boot from the competition and the Jukebox sees its first spin.
