Matt Terry has been named the favourite to win The X Factor 2016.
But while the final is a long way off, one will be leaving this Sunday and wacky duo Bratavio are the favourites for the chop.
The X Factor now has its final 12 after the Judges’ Houses saw the hopefuls whittled down from 28.
Ahead of the live shows, Matt remains the one to beat after an emotional Judges’ Houses performance moved Nicole Sherzinger and Calvin Harris. The 22-year-old has shortened further as the favourite to win and is now priced at 9/4 from 3/1.
Despite Matt's lead, overall the Girls appear to be the strongest category as they dominate the top of the betting according to Boylesports.
Emily Middlemas is the 4/1 joint second favourite, alongside boyband 5 After Midnight, with Gifty Louise next at 7/1 and Samantha Lavery close behind at 10/1 to win.
Two acts that caused public outrage after they made it to the live shows were Honey G, from the Overs, and Group Bratavio. However despite making it to live shows, their odds of taking the title are large at 40/1 and 80/1 respectively.
The rest of mentor Sharon’s Overs follow as outsiders in the betting with Saara Alto priced at 25/1 and Relley C on offer at 50/1.
Making up the rest of the Boys are Ryan Lawrie (16/1) and Freddy Parker (25/1) with Brooks Way (14/1) finishing off Louis’ Groups.
Aoife Heffron from BoyleSports commented today: “Matt Terry was the stand out performance from the Judges’ Houses and is the clear favourite to win after shortening into 9/4 from 3/1.”
She added: “Honey G surprisingly made it to the live shows, much to the dismay of most of the X Factor viewers and to add some salt to their wounds she has shortened into 40/1 ahead of live shows having been initially installed as a 100/1 shot.”
