Ryan Lawrie makes a come back on The X Factor 2016 tonight at judges' houses.
And not for the first time this year.
Having originally auditioned as a solo act, Ryan was given a no at bootcamp.
But he then made it to Six Chair Challenge in a newly put together boyband. The group didn't work out and Ryan was sent home again.
However Ryan has now been given another chance thanks to Simon Cowell bringing him back for judges' houses as the Boys wild card.
Ryan tells cameras this evening: "I cannot believe that I'm actually here. A few weeks I wasn't actually in the competition. Now I'm sitting in the south of France. It's pretty incredible."
Speaking about his initial knockback, Ryan reflects: "My first audition went pretty well then when I went to bootcamp sadly I didn't get through. My heart just dropped and I thought 'It's kinda all over now'."
"When I got home I was back to every day life. Getting the call back, it makes me want it even more. Getting to live shows and performing every single week, it would be amazing."
Singing for mentor Nicole Scherzinger and her guest judge Calvin Harris, Ryan says: " I want to prove to you that I should be here and I deserve a place."
After singing, Nicole confides in Calvin: "I didn't remember him and I really like him now. He's cool and fun."
Will Ryan make the live shows?
The X Factor 2016 airs tonight at 7:30PM on ITV.
