Four X Factor 2016 wild cards join the show at judges' houses tonight.
Last weekend we saw the judges each pick the top six acts in their category in the always brutal six chair challenge.
But in fact a total of SEVEN acts will be heading out with each of the mentors to judges' houses this Saturday and Sunday night.
As first revealed last week, each judge had to nominate a Wildcard act for one of their fellow judges. The judges chose someone they feel missed out on a coveted place at Judges’ Houses.
The X Factor 2016 wildcards
Chosen by Louis for Simon's Girls.
17 year old student Samantha made a shock exit at the six chair challenge after mentor Simon slammed her 'horrible' song choice.
Samantha said: “I had no idea about the wildcard and couldn’t believe it when I got the call from Louis. I still can’t believe it’s real. There were so many tears from me and my family – especially my grandad when I found out I was back in the competition. I feel like I have been given a second chance to prove to Simon I deserve to go to the lives.”
Chosen by Simon for Nicole's Boys.
Having originally auditioned as a solo act, Ryan then made it to Six Chair Challenge in a newly put together boyband. The group didn't work out and Simon chose Ryan to return again as a wild card.
Ryan said: “It was totally unexpected and I was absolutely buzzing to get a call from Simon. I’m really excited for it and with all the feelings and emotions running through me it just doesn’t feel real at all. I want to show Nicole why Simon brought me back”
Chosen by Nicole for Sharon's Overs.
29 year old Finnish singer Saara Aalto missed out on a seat at six chairs after a pretty disastrous time at Wembley Arena. Fortunately, Nicole had her back.
Saara said: “I’m so happy to get the wildcard from Nicole. She understood me from the first audition. This is the point that can change my life and I know I have so much to give”.
Chosen by Sharon for Louis' Groups.
Five piece boyband Yes Lad is made up of Joel, Cian, Sonny, Lewis and Luke, who originally secured a seat in the Six Chair Challenge but were swapped out.
Yes Lad said: “We thought that was it and we were out. It’s so surreal to now be going to Louis’ house. We feel we’re the underdog and have something to prove to Louis. We have Sharon on our side and she said that she believed in us so hopefully Louis will listen to her.”
They'll join the rest of the contestants in their respective categories for judges' houses this weekend.
The X Factor airs on ITV Saturday 1st October at 8pm and Sunday 2nd October at 7.30pm
