X Factor's Nicole Scherzinger is sure she has a winner in her category.

Today on ITV’s This Morning, The X Factor judge spoke exclusively about her boys ahead of judges' houses this weekend.

Talking to Sam Mann from Nice in the South of France, Nicole said, “I definitely think I could possibly have the winner here!” Before adding, “I think I have at least one or two stars.”

However Nicole reckons there's some tough competition.

She explained: “My strongest competition is Mrs O’s category which is ‘the overs’ - they have some really strong, heavy hitters and big voices. People who are really experienced.”

At the weekend Nicole will decide which three of her Boys to take into the live shows and which four to sent home.

She confessed: “This is my least favourite part. This is where I forget the gorgeous view and I’m dreading having to send more than half of my boys home.”

Meanwhile, when asked if she has power over Simon Cowell, Nicole flexed her arm muscles and said, “I don’t know if he goes gooey over me - that must be Eric over my shoulder! I know he adores Eric. He’s a miniature Simon!”

Nicole also heaped praise on Rylan Clark-Neal.

"Back in the day, when I had him for my boys category… he didn’t have the strongest vocals, but there was something about him," Nicole said. "He had that ‘it’ factor, the X Factor. He’s a star and people love him. He’s a natural and he’s lots of fun.”

This Morning airs weekdays, 10.30am on ITV.

The X Factor continues on ITV Saturday 1st October at 8pm and Sunday 2nd October at 7.30pm.
