X Factor 2016's Ryan Lawrie has said he's Emily Middlemas' number one fan.
Even if the pair end up having to compete with one another on the live shows later this year.
Reports earlier this month suggested that Emily and Ryan were seeing each other after they became close during filming for Bootcamp.
And Ryan confirmed the speculation during his appearance on the Xtra Factor on Sunday night.
The pair both nailed their auditions and got through to bootcamp but from there their journeys went rather differently,
While Emily sailed through to judges' houses in the Girls category, Ryan was put in a new boyband who were given a no at the Six Chair Challenge, but then Ryan was brought back as a soloist after Simon Cowell picked him for the Boys' wild card act.
So now both are through to judges' houses, prompting Ryan Clark-Neal to remark how they'd end up competing with one another if they made the live shows.
Speaking to the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser Ryan said: “This is amazing for Emily. She has worked so hard to get to where she is.
“I will be Emily’s number one fan – I have got the T-shirt ready.”
As for his own chances in the competition, Ryan said he was hoping to win over Nicole at judges' houses.
"It was totally unexpected to be named as a wildcard and I was absolutely buzzing to get a call from Simon," he said. “I’m really excited for it and with all the feelings and emotions running through me it just doesn’t feel real at all.
“I want to show Nicole why Simon brought me back. Judges’ Houses here I come!”
Find out who gets through to the LIVE SHOWS during the judges' houses when The X Factor continues on ITV Saturday 1st October at 8pm and Sunday 2nd October at 7.30pm.
