Ivy Grace Paredes has been forced to quit The X Factor 2016 despite winning a spot at judges' houses tonight.
This evening it was the turn of the Overs at the Six Chair Challenge and Ivy NAILED her performance to win a chair in the final six.
The 33 year-old singer and mother of one from the Philippines belted out Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing to wow the judges at audience at Wembley Arena.
Nicole Scherzinger told her: "I know why you left the Philippines because your voice is too big for the Philippines alone, it's meant for the entire world."
However it was previously revealed during filming at judges' houses that Ivy had been forced to leave the competition due to a visa issue.
A spokesperson for the show said: "As with all contestants travelling to the US for Judges Houses, Ivy was required to have a visa.
"Unfortunately there was an issue with her application being approved which meant that she was not granted a visa in time and sadly had to withdraw from the competition."
Ivy, who told the judges she had flown from the Philippines just to audition for the show, was a favourite in the category after 4th Impact's success last year.
However US authorities are said to have rejected Ivy's visa to film at Sharon's LA home for judges houses "over an issue in her past" which has not been revealed.
"Ivy was a real hope for the judges after her audition but her dreams are in tatters," a source told The Sun last week. “She was point blank refused the visa.
“X Factor tried their best to help, but ran out of time."
They added: “There has been talk of a past issue causing problems but no one but Ivy knows the reason.”
Ivy's departure left a space free for the legend that is Honey G to return.
She'll now be competing for a place in the live shows alongside the rest of Sharon's Overs, Samantha Atkinson, James Wilson, Relley C, Christopher Peyton and Janet Grogan.
The X Factor 2016 continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV with judges' houses.
