Simon Cowell ditched Samantha Lavery on The X Factor 2016 tonight in the six chair challenge.
The 16-year-old was slated for her "horrible" song choice and "over-styled" look by the music mogul, who this year is in charge of the Girls' category.
"I want to do it for myself, my family and my granddad. I get my voice from him and I want to make him proud," said Samantha, who originally WOWED us all with an explosive first audition in front of the judges back at the room try outs.
"Getting four yeses was amazing, when I came out to see my family I just burst out crying, I want to get that chair and hold onto it and make everyone proud and prove I can do it," Samantha added before her performance.
While we felt Samantha's performance of Jessie J's Mamma Knows Best is pretty epic, Girls' mentor Simon had some harsh words for her.
"Here's the problem, you have no idea who you are," he complained, "You've over-styled yourself, the song was horrible.
"I'm now in a really difficult position because you are one of the girls who were making it one of the strongest categories..."
However Simon did give Samantha a seat at the time, saying: "I happen to think you've great potential and great talent and I'm going to take a leap of faith."
But the leap was a short one as moments later - with all six chairs filled - Simon asked Gifty Louise to replace Samantha.
"WHAAAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" shouted Nicole Scherzinger.
"NOOOO" added Sharon Osbourne as the girls encouraged the audience to boo Simon's choice.
"I'm just shocked, wrong song, wrong time," said Samantha backstage.
Let's just hope Samantha gets that wild card spot for the Girls category!
The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
