X Factor hopefuls Skarl3t have hit back after receiving DEATH THREATS following last week's show.
Skarl3t are aged 22-27 and made up of Tonia, Naomi and Natasha and were seen apparently clashing with Kayleigh Marie Morgan after being put together in the bootcamp challenge.
The London based trio have since been subjected to a string of abusive messages with one viewer even emailing the group directly writing “Pure C**TS Actually Kill Yourself”.
Hitting back, Tash took to Twitter to defend herself and her bandmates and complained about how it was edited.
She wrote in a lengthy post online: “This is a TV show and as a viewer myself it was heart-breaking watching how it was edited (as I can promise you it really isn’t and wasn’t like how it was aired).
“I have only seen negative comments from our performance saying we are bullies who are selfish and it really hurts reading those comments as it is far from the truth.
“I get it that people will have their opinions from what they have seen and unfortunately we are not in control of how the program is edited, it could happen to anyone and its happened to us.
“We didn’t row or fall out and I am hoping Kayleigh feels the same as I thought we worked well in a team.”
Tash also revealed that the girls will be on the Xtra Factor tonight (Sunday).
"I really hope this will change everyone's views on us and we are shown for who we really are," she said.
The X Factor 2016's Six Chair Challenge airs tonight at 7PM on ITV with Xtra Factor live straight after on ITV2.
