X Factor's Matt Terry is supposedly back with the girlfriend who dumped him at his audition.
23-year-old Matt revealed to the judges during his first performance that he used to be a waiter but quit his job after an upsetting break up.
In fact, Matt explained he was dumped just before his birthday three years into the relationship.
"Music is my passion, it's the dream come true, it's what I'm here for," he said. "I'm going to go for it with everything I have."
After impressing the judges with a cover of Stand By Me, Matt flirted with Nicole Scherzinger before being compared to Olly Murs by Simon Cowell.
It was previously reported that the mystery girl who dumped Matt is a performing arts student called Jasmine, nicknamed ‘Jazz’.
The pair studied together at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts, currently the focus of E4's new reality show Stage School.
But now the couple are said to have reunited and are living together.
"Matt made a big thing about the fact he was a hopeless single and was left heartbroken during his first audition in front of the judges," a source claimed.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the insider added: “It was a classic X Factor sob story but little do viewers know Matt and Jazz are still very much together.
“She did split with him very briefly at one point but they’re currently very loved up and even living together in the same flat."
Tonight will see Matt singing for his spot at judges' houses in Nicole Scherzinger's Boys category.
The X Factor airs this evening from 8PM on ITV.
