X Factor's Samantha Atkinson has hit back at Simon Cowell.
During Saturday night's final round of auditions we saw Samantha stun (most of) the judges with a cover of Adele's When We Were Young.
While Samantha did get four yeses, Simon compared her to a 'pub singer', something which she does NOT agree with.
"I don't get that," Samantha said following the show airing. "Granted, years ago I did sing in the pubs and clubs, but isn't that where a lot of people come from?
"I'm going to prove to Simon I'm not just a pub singer. He's only seen me sing one song, and now he needs to see what potential I've got."
On Sunday night Samantha made it through to the six chair challenge, going a step further than last year where she bowed out at bootcamp.
Landlady Sam left in 2015 after clashing with Ryan Ruckledge in the group challenge and she reckons the year out has helped.
"I think because of last year, I didn't get to show who I was. I was only eliminated because of what went on in the group. I basically slept on it for a year and I've come back," Samantha told the ITV.com website. "I feel like after watching my Audition, I need to be a little more confident, but I do think I'm better than last year.
"At the end of the day, I want to prove to my children that when you want something in life, you don't stop until you get it."
The X Factor 2016 airs this Saturday and Sunday night where Samantha will be fighting for a place at judges' houses.
