X Factor girl group Skarl3t have hit back over last night's bootcamp episode.

Skarl3t are aged 22-27 and made up of Tonia, Naomi and Natasha and yesterday were seen apparently clashing with Kayleigh Marie Morgan and Tinuke after being put together in a bootcamp challenge to sing Marvin Gaye 's Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.

The show made out there were disagreements over who would sing what parts and it looked like it led to Skarl3t going to rehearse away from the group.

Kayleigh told cameras: "At bootcamp, my biggest fear is I'm going to be pushed aside. Because you do have to work in a group, sometimes it's really hard to get that limelight... I can't even explain how much it literally means to me."

With the three acts not working together, Kayleigh admitted: "It's making me feel really uneasy."

But Skarl3t declared: "This is a competition. You can be cool with everyone but you're not here to make best friends, it's not camp."

Last night the trio hit out over the way things were aired via @OfficialSkarl3t: "editing skills on point, 👏🏽 really didn't go down that way...Love you @KaylMarie022!!"

They added to one follower: "Trust me guys you shouldn't believe everything you see on tv xx"

Tonia then tweeted from her personal account @Tonia_SKARL3T_: "alexandra palace is a big place..where's the bit when we said we were looking for them too?"

Despite the 'rows', all three acts made it through and both Kayleigh and Skarl3t are now also into the six chair challenge in the Girls and Groups categories respectively.

Could they both be heading off to judges' houses?

We'll find out this weekend when The X Factor returns both Saturday and Sunday night.
