The X Factor 2016 bootcamp got a bit raunchy, even Simon Cowell has admitted.
Over the weekend we saw the 121 acts who made it through the auditions get to enjoy a welcome party that - to quote Dermot O'Leary - was "all on Simon's dollar".
There were drinks, food, topless butlers and a hot tub.
And it turns out it meant some of the acts ended up getting to know one another on a more 'personal' level with some late night duets under the duvets in hotel rooms.
“We got there quite early at the beginning of the party and there is always that feeling when you get 150 people together," Simon recalled this week.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I’m not surprised. I wouldn’t encourage it. But at the same time it is what it is.
“I did say that to them, ‘There is a party to get to know each other. Don’t take it too far. And remember tomorrow you are going to be singing’. There were people who did party a little bit too much. Some people took me literally.
“I didn’t mean it that way. I meant shake hands and say hello."
And Simon claimed that after some acts enjoyed themselves a little too much: "Certain people probably blew their chances.”
But not everyone got involved in the antics with Soheila Clifford, a favourite in the Girls category, saying she was focused on the music.
“People did get carried away. They gave you wrist bands for drink so they knew who was 18. People were getting thrown in the hot tub," Soheila is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper. "I was there for my career.”
The X Factor returns this Saturday and Sunday night with the six chair challenge.
